Behind the Comics
With over 20 years of experience working with kids and families, Dr. David Suskind, a pediatric gastroenterologist, saw firsthand how traditional patient education can be hard to understand—and even harder to remember. So he teamed up with illustrator Jason Piperberg to create Livewell Comics: a growing series of medically accurate, engaging stories that help kids and their families better understand their conditions.
